Nach 28 Jahren bei IBM bin ich unabhängig im Bereich AI Governance tätig — als Berater, Lehrbeauftragter und Aufsichtsrat.

Bei IBM habe ich im Bereich Trusted AI als Architecture Lead das Produkt watsonx.governance verantwortet. Davor lag mein Schwerpunkt viele Jahre auf Information Lifecycle Governance: Archivierung, Aufbewahrung, eDiscovery und der Umgang mit sensiblen Daten.

Mein Hintergrund ist Softwareentwicklung, Suchtechnologie, Computerlinguistik und maschinelles Lernen.

Was mich antreibt: Governance und Compliance so zu verstehen und zu gestalten, dass sie Technologie schneller, sicherer und profitabler in die breite Anwendung bringen.

After 28 years at IBM I now pursue my interests in the area of AI Governance independently — as an advisor, lecturer and supervisory board member.

At IBM I worked on AI Governance in the Trusted AI area as the architecture lead for the watsonx.governance product. Before that I spent many years in Information Lifecycle Governance, including archival, retention, eDiscovery and sensitive data management.

My background is in software development, search technologies, natural language processing and machine learning.

My passion is to understand and shape governance and compliance so that they bring technology into widespread use — faster, safer and more profitably.
